Twin Cities Readers And Writers: Two Author Fairs Coming Up

Whether interested in meeting local authors or attending writing workshops, you may want to add two upcoming author fairs to your calendar.

Saturday, November 18: The Dakota County Local Author Fair

Put on by the Dakota County library of Apple Valley and The Loft Literary Center of Minneapolis, the afternoon will feature 30 authors (including myself), writing workshops, and a keynote speech by the Star Tribune’s Laurie Hertzel.

Learn more and check out the authors here, and here’s the event flyer:

Saturday, December 9: The Highland-St. Paul Holiday Book Fair

Closer to the heart of the Twin Cities (and closer to Christmas), this event will feature 17 local authors at St. Paul’s Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. See flyer below for more info. I’m pleased to be joining this event as well:

I was pleased to be a part of this event last year:

Both events promise to feature accomplished and passionate writers from right here in Minnesota. Get to know the writers, ask them questions, and of course, pick up copies of their work.

I’ll be signing and selling my travel-essay book:

Hope to see you at one of these events. If you do, please come say hi!

What say you?
